Pears are my favorite winter fruit, and it’s not hard to see why. Not only are they incredibly healthy (read more in our blog post here), but they are also surprisingly versatile. While they obviously fit perfectly into dessert, they can really be a part of any meal. I use them them in salads, paninis, and oatmeal to name a few. Here are two of my all time favorite pear recipes!
1. Pear, Brie, & Honey Crostini: Looking for the perfect holiday appetizer or snack? This is it! In addition to healthy pears, this recipe also uses multigrain baguette slices, pomegranate seeds, and arugula. Plus, they are as beautiful as they are tasty. Get the full recipe here.
2. Pear Parfait with Greek Yogurt & Granola: Looking to switch up your breakfast routine? Here’s a simple idea that is impressive looking but super easy to make. Just cut your favorite type of pear in half, scoop out the center, add a scoop of greek yogurt and top with your favorite homemade or store bought granola. For a little extra flair, drizzle with honey or sprinkle with cinnamon. Enjoy!
